Does fasting and metabolism pills help you lose weight?

If i was on the lemonade diet, taking metabolism boost pills and excercising? Please help. I urgently need to lose weight. Im like depressed! I dont care about health and stuff.. If someone has a better way for me to lose weight please reccomend something!
