how to lose the fat in my back and keep the fat of my arms and legs?

Ive been lifting weights for 4 years.I gained weight because of muscle size.When I 1st started i was 176LB then i lost weight 165LB.When i lost weght i still had a billy and a fat back and i lost the size of my hands and legs.Im now 242LB.I dont wana lose weight because im worried ill lose arms and leg size.I now also have fat in my hands and legs.How can i keep them.Also my back and sholders muscles grow faster than my chest and traps.When i lose weigh i wana have large arms legs,chest,and traps only whith a thin slim back.Tell me what to do.

although i am no expert, i have heard that you can concentrate efforts on certain areas. with any weight loss program, you’ll lose weight all over your body (with the exception of liposuction), so dont be surprized if you do lose a bit around your legs and arms.

to reduce just belly and back, try doing pilates moves that are focused on the midsection. by energizing the muscles in the areas you want to lose weight, they’ll become more efficient and burn fat quicker. this is not the same as doing sit ups or moves to build muscle, because those would only increase the size of your back and belly.

to keep your legs and arms thick, you could lift weights and focus muscle building activities on those areas.

these are just my opinions based on my basic understanding of the human body. i’d suggest talking with someone at a gym. most places will give you a free or cheap session with a personal trainer if you just have a few questions or arent sure where to start a routine. they will be able to give you specific directions as to what works and what doesnt.
