Why is it so difficult to get help collecting child support when the non cust parent doesn’t pay as ordered???

My daughter is 5 and my ex is always behind in child support and reimbursement for medical bills. Right now he owes about $7,000 and he’s not working yet again. I hired a lawyer and went to court and my paperwork says that if my ex doesn’t pay child support he may face jail time. I’ve yet to see any action taken in my case by the OAG and when I complain about this they just tell me there are other people out there who are owed more money than I am. I could care less about other people, I care about my case and supporting my daugther. Why do I have to get three jobs just to support her when my ex doesn’t have to work at all??? At what point does the OAG take action to truly collect child support and why isn’t this done in more of a proactive manner?

Just where do you think he will get the money if he doesn’t have a job?
Welfare doesn’t give anyone enough to survive on, and I don’t think they would like him giving it to you.
The only option is to putting him in jail for knocking you up.
Why didn’t you see him for the loser he was before you got pregnant, well to late to talk about that now.
You both made mistakes, only yours was the bigger one.
If you don’t see it that way, then logic is lost on you.
