You probably have a list. I know I do. A list of things that have never worked or rarely work as promised. Yet they continue to be sold, day after day. Whether it's an infomercial or magazine ad for another diet pill or product expansion penis. Or all the herbs for sexual stamina some men and women. I have a chopper that looked like much on TV advertising but is lousy in the kitchen. I guess I should have stuck to chop tomatoes as sweet as they did. Anyway, the list goes on and on. So why do we buy this stuff?
Well, we hate to have to exercise and cut sweets to lose weight. Thus, pills regime, or books that explain how to lose weight without any effort, are easy to repair. Sure, it sounds too good to be true, but only if it really works? The same is true for any quick solution to our social systems, even if sexual issues. Then there are all the schemes instant millionaire. As homework, buying foreclosure, in envelopes, or from a website. They are all success-fire just waiting for you to buy the book details in a DVD, or download online. The problem is that when you get home and read small print, it is especially bullsh * t or a rehash of things you already know.
So, back to the other group, products, foods, and devices. View all items that promise the performance loss inches a few days. They look cheap and not expensive. Models using the machines have great abs and perfect bodies. Do you actually think they got that way using product? Read the fine print which invariably states that: "These results are not typical. When a diet pill has the same claim, It is further stated that "it only works when accompanied by diet and exercise." So what is the point of the product?
My helicopter was badly designed, but it looked nice. Why all these elements are found in infomercials if they are excellent products? Is there perhaps any national chain would affect them? After all, Target or Wal-Mart would have to honor the returns for full refund. These items have mail postage which are non-refundable, if during the order or return. So the knife Ginzu or Blue-blocking lenses you get with the highest S & H (shipping and handling) costs. Even when they throw in some extras, there is always S & H for compensating gifts. And not only your mail order.
From the least expensive pen that never writes to the luxury car that breaks down all the time, we established with them. I just bought a container of mints coated with 50% are stuck on the packaging and therefore inedible. I have clocks that wasting time, the calculators last a month or two, the user manuals that tell me almost nothing and batteries that last only a week. Ironically my articles most reliable are the cheapest. My paper clips, rubber bands, toothpicks, and work pretty well with tape. My nails are fairly reliable one penny. But I can find fault with dozens of products I use every day that make me crazy.
For example, my electric can opener, most often, HOOK not on the cover of the CAN. Finally, I bought an old manual mode that works for three dollars each time. This trend goes back to an era when life was simpler. Automation is not always the answer. soap dispensers can be blocked, why not go to a bar of soap? This kind of thing. I understand that we are creatures of habit and like our toys. But beware of false allegations not to be Guinea pigs new products. And do not be afraid to return something that fails to live up to the hype. Okay?
Well, I must admit that I am writing this article on the word processing program on a computer. But I bet I could do as well with a pad of paper and a pencil. And it would have been less likely to crash, a virus, giving me carpal tunnel syndrome, or flash a message that announces: "You've Got Mail!" when it is really just another piece of spam. Nuff said.
