9. What is the spice of life? Variety. The same goes for any weight or exercise program. Doing the same thing day after day dooms you to a plateau in weight loss. You must add variety. An exercise routine must add a mix of strength, flexibility and cardio workouts to be effective. Your body becomes accustomed to the same routing over and over again, therefore it becomes less effective and the results are fewer calories are burned.
10. To lose weight, add weights. By adding weights your calorie burning effects are faster and you build stronger muscles. While on the treadmill you can add some bicep curls and you will see results sooner.
You need both diet and exercise in order to burn fat fast and lose weight. Little changes like those described above will get you big benefits.

I need some new leg exercises. Can anyone help?
I already do a variety of lunges and squats but what other exercises can I do at home to help tone up my legs?

Try doing calf raises – raising and lowering yourself on your toes – to tone your calf muscles (the bottom of your legs). To tone your thighs, you could try running! I know this isn’t really something you can do inside (unless you have a treadmill) but it really is a great workout.
